MCA PGCET

Post Graduate Common Entrance Test also known as PGCET is another gateway for admission to MCA offered by Rathinam Institute of Technology. PGCET is an entrance exam conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Candidates seeking admission to MCA through PGCET must take the exam and qualify it with valid marks. After the successful completion of the exam, the candidates will also have to attend the counselling process conducted by the Government of Karnataka.

The Karnataka PGCET (Postgraduate Common Entrance Test) counselling process involves registration, document verification, option entry, and seat allotment. The candidates must first register themselves on the official KEA website and participate in the document verification process at the allotted centers. They will have to enter the preferred choices of colleges and programs followed by seat allotment based on the merit list and choices.

Who is Eligible?

  • Candidates must have secured a valid score in PGCET exam.
  • Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in any field securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
  • Those belonging to the reserved categories must secure at least 45% marks in aggregate.
  • Candidates in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for the respective entrance examination. However, they must provide proof of graduation within the stipulated time after admission.
